You are Not Invisible

0

For many years now have I been rescuing all kind of Animals.

I know how it feels not being heard, while in pain.

I know how it feels not being seen, while in pain.

I know how it feels when you seek help and you hear, “so sorry, but we cannot help you! We do not have the resources.”

I know how it feels when you tell your story, over and over and over again. You open door after door, and everything feels right then hopeless.

You want to scream!

You want to cry!

You want to walk away, and never tell anyone your story again.

I have seen the worst neglected animals you possible can imagine. I have brought them with me without thinking or planning.

Hundreds of dogs, and some horses. People has said, “no they are too damage to save!”

Months later, they are astonishing beautiful!

I am so proud over them.

And amazed.

And I am learning through them.

You are not invisible. Please Keep walking, and there will be that one person, which will know and dare to help you.

Animals as Coaches

This is my pack!

Every early morning are they gathering together in my office to attend our meditation.

It’s an amazing and powerful feeling, when they also”lower” themselves into a pleasant deep meditation.

Occasionally, I hear one of my Seniors snore peacefully in the background. That is a wonderful heartwarming sound to hear.

After twenty minutes mostly of us do the stretch, then breakfast. What a great way to start the day!

I love my pack of “mini Buddhist” as I have always called them.

That’s Amore!

Helping Hands and Hearts

In a couple of hours am I meeting a woman I admire in many ways.

She is the founder of the nonprofit organization Kainos. A ministry working against human trafficking and sexual exploitation in prostitution.

Their vision is to see freedom for victims of human trafficking and sexuality exploitation with an opportunity for a new life.

When Your Body Speaks

0

Always listen to your body, they say.

It’s interesting how we can reject our inner hearing to our most important “home”, our body. For months, have I made sure that everyone from children to rescue Animals got a good start in their mornings, followed by snacks and dinner (lunch at school) Me, starts off with coffee and in the afternoon I realize I need to eat something… a croissant.

Dinner time, exhausted to make something for myself makes quick bites of whatever vegetarian food I can find from the refrigerator.

While Rescuing others …..made me realize that I forgot myself.

It’s never to late to teach an old dog sit! Time to change.

That’s Amore!

Prayers

prayers

I have been praying since I was a little girl.

I believe we all pray. Some more often than others.

Growing up in a “non-religion” home I taught myself how to speak to God, or Universe (or the same) When I was in third grade, I went with my school friend and her family to a Katholic Church in Sweden. It was so beautiful. I wanted to become a Katholic.

When my family went skiing in Austria, I had as an tradition that every last ski day I went to the Katholic church instead of skiing (as much as possible the last day.) My father went “crazy” and thought that was nonsens, and waste of money. But, for me, it was magic, lightning a candle, sitting in the wooden bench and look at all the fantastic Angels, Jesus and gold ornaments. I prayed.

Still today, when visiting different European cities (towns) the church is a must for me, and my young children enjoys it too.

I love feeling connected via prayers and meditations.

I read somewhere and it goes something like this;

When you pray you speak to God,

and when you meditate, God speaks to you.

That’s Amore!

Amazing Hawaii

0

I have to pinch my arm several times a day, to remind myself that I am not sleeping (nor dreaming)

During my time in Hawaii, Kona I met so many amazing people, but even more amazing dolphins, whales and turtle. Snorkelling together with them on their own terms were as it should be, always.

We were early down in the water and when they approached us we didn’t try to touch them. With big respect we entered their “home”.

During my meditations every day, it is fantastic feeling to bring back the memories from my swimming in the incredible Pacific Ocean.

I feel so blessed.

Thank you Mia.
