Yesterday, a person told me, “You are impossible!”
Now, you are reading it with your own inner ‘voice’ and it might not sound so bad to you. And also, in what contents was it said to me? Was their a little giggle in the executers voice, or was it said in a frustration tone?
Words are powerful, and words can have different meanings.
We use words every day, but are we aware of how they are being said, and received?
The whole day yesterday alone in my car for 4 hours, was I wrestling with the words ‘you are impossible’ It was like my brain had this dialog;
‘you are impossible!’ followed quickly with the words; ‘No you are not!’
“yes you are!”
“shut up!”
“no I won’t , you are impossible!”
Frustration that I was actually waisting my time listening to this yida yada.
However, it actually goes way back in time, to my childhood. Being told I wasn’t good enough, and I couldn’t do this or that.
Teachers, telling me I wasn’t good enough! (not all of course)
When being born, you start to receive words, and for each year, you are being included with more and more different people. That will tell you, nice words, harsh words, and words that can kill you (suicide)
The brain is a receiver. “You are stupid!” someone tells you (or you say it yourself).
The brain says, “Ok I am stupid”!
Encourage yourself, family, children, strangers, schoolchildren, animals….everyone you meet. Even to our Nature. Then yours, and others internal voice will be so much pretty.
Be aware of what you say, and be aware of what you listen to.
That’s Amore!
