MOTHER EARTH

Earth day

Lets make every day to our Earth day, just like we should make Mothers Day ever day ūüėČ or like my son says, lets celebrate life every day!

We went¬†for a walk into¬†the forest today–nothing unusual with that though–however, our thanks were longer than we normally do on¬†our walk(s) Children, me and our Horse walked and inhaled Mother Nature into our hearts. We thanked her, the ocean, air, land, animals and for the people that are truly working making changes for the better to¬†our beloved planet. Small as Big!

We only got her.

Small steps, like my friend Malin says, “one step at the time!”

That’s Amore!

The adults have many times difficult to keep one thought at the time. Their thoughts are flying around in a lot of different directions.

For the animals to survive they must focusing only on one thought at a time. With too many thoughts in your head, you people lose your instinct and intuition. That is why many pets can get confused when they receive various directives in their everyday lives.

The horses sacrifice themselves to mankind, especially the riding-school, they continue despite difficulties. Daily, they have different riders with different opinions (skills) that make it hard for the horse’s thinking and understanding. Riding-school horses commutes between man and his own languages, at the same time they are in contact with¬†their¬†soul, to recieve power and strength.

The animals carry the same High Sensitivity and unconditional love that children, and should be treated with respect and not fear.

Often I could sense some kind of pain from the riding school horses in the bigger stables. Some horses had lost their personality; their soul was turned off. Some students thought that the horse was lazy and smacked him with a whip, while another student thought he was cute and hugged him.

The Horse in the box next to him stroke his ears back when people approached him. The next week was the sour horse sold, because of the man feeling he was an “unreliable horse.”

When my daughter Olivia rode her own horse on her practice, ¬†her teacher ones shouted, “Stop riding like an Angel!”

Olivia refused to use her¬†whip. “Mom, how can I use the whip when my horse did not do anything stupid! It is I who did not understand. ”

A week later the same teacher told her, “You can not be insecure in your riding, your horse does not understand what it is you want.”

Olivia looked at me, “You see mother, in most cases, its me who do wrong. Why should I beat my horse that is actually my teacher, my teammate! ”

How could I argue with my daughter who had difficulty finding her place on Mother Earth with her own High Sensitivity. Same High sensitivity that the animals got!

The Swedish statistics show that one out of five children is considered Highly Sensitive. These children are taking in more impressions and reading the situations, just like animals. In several cases the children are being medicated as if they had a kind of disease, to better fit into our society/schools.

Daily, I remain extremely grateful to my psychologist when she said, “Mia, in your case, I’m not suggesting medication. You need your sensitivity! ”

That’s Amore!

Clarification, there are some children that are better off with being medicated. We can only go from how we know our own children and ourself.

All riding school horses are not unhappy. Again, everything depends on where you are, and it is always in the humans hands. Thank Above are we getting wiser and nicer. ‚̧

Senior Dogs got Much to Give

0

AWL mia hemsida adress 1I have to admit, my heart is soft for Senior dogs. Having had my foundation now since 1999 and working with rescuing animals (most dogs) I have met hundreds of wonderful Seniors. Yes, it is not for a very long time you get to keep them(years), however, the time seems in a way longer when you are together with them (time). If that makes any sense.

I have had to say good bye to many Seniors, but I have always been by their side. Always!

In my home I have right now eight (8) Seniors that I adore. I don’t like traveling as much as I did earlier, even if I love traveling ūüėČ I cut down 50% with my travels.

Instead I love laying reading and hearing their deep snoring next to me or on the floor on their own bed(s). How they wake up and takes the day with grande¬†relaxing tempo, like the southern Italian dogs they are (ok one American). And….their love is priceless, their deepness in their eyes when they look at you. They make you feel like a Hero!

This January we had to say good bye to one of our rescue dogs Jazz. For one year she had problems holding her bladder. I rolled away the carpets and mopping buckets on every floor.

My husband growled a little.

I looked at him with a wrinkle between my eyes and said, “When you get old(er) and start to wet yourself, am I going to get ride of you too?”

good-bye-leoI have a hard time understanding people who suddenly abandon their old friend just because he is old and smelly. It shows me their (people) evaluation about becoming old.

My heart become warm when I read about more and more Senior Sanctuaries are opening, and …..that so many more people dare to adopt a Senior.

That’s Amore!
